The OC Fair is hosting “One Big Party” this summer in celebration of its 125th anniversary from July 17-August 16, 2015. There are many ways to save at the Fair:


Super Pass
(Season Pass) 

The OC Fair Super Pass is a great option for Fairgoers to get all the Fair they can bear for one affordable price. The popular season pass grants the passholder 23-day access to the 2015 Fair, express entry at all gates, a free 2015 OC Fair souvenir pin, a carnival value book, 2-for-1 tickets for select events at the Pacific Amphitheatre, The Hangar and Action Sports Arena and free admission to the Orange County Market Place for the rest of the year. The 2015 Super Pass is available at a discount through May 31 (General $30, Senior (60+) $23 and Youth (6-12) $23.) The 2015 Super Pass can be purchased online at ocfair.com/superpass (through July 4) or from the on-site Box Office or any ticket booth during the OC Fair (through August 14.)


Opening Day Free Hour
(Friday, July 17, Noon-1 p.m.)


Rise & Shine
(Saturdays & Sundays, 10-11 a.m.)

For the first hour of the opening day of the 2015 OC Fair, Fairgoers can enjoy free admission and parking. For the rest of the 2015 Fair, guests can take advantage of the Rise & Shine deal featuring $3 admission from 10-11 a.m. every Saturday and Sunday (the Fair opens at 10 a.m. on weekends.)


Discounted Admission Days
(Discounts for children, seniors and military)

Every Thursday, children 12 and younger are free all day for Kids Days. Children 5 and younger are free every day. On Fridays, Fairgoers 60 and older receive a $2 discount on their Senior admission ticket ($5 ticket) plus free Ferris wheel and merry-go-round rides all day on Seniors Day. Active-duty U.S. military and veterans receive free Fair admission every day with a valid military ID (DD-214 form is accepted as proof of military service. Offer not valid for spouses or dependents.)


Just For Foodies

Every Friday afternoon, foodies can taste their way through the Fair for only $2 a sample during the $2 Taste of Fair Food promotion. Most Fair food vendors will feature a $2 taste on their menu every Friday from Noon-4 p.m. Fair admission required.


We Care Wednesday
(Donation drives held every Wednesday Noon-3 p.m.)

Fair visitors can save while they give back to the community with the OC Fair’s We Care Wednesday weekly donation drives that each offer free admission and one free carnival ride per person with required donation. Donation requirements change weekly:

  • July 22 (Noon-3 p.m.): Food Drive (5 cans of food)
  • July 29 (Noon-3 p.m.): Children’s Book Drive (3 new or gently used children’s books – new for 2015)
  • August 5 (Noon-3 p.m.): Clothing Drive (5 new or gently used clothing items)
  • August 12 (Noon-3 p.m.): School Supply Drive (School supply item(s) valued at $5 or more, receipt is required for proof of value) Items Accepted: pens, pencils, crayons, notebooks, notebook paper, backpacks, colored pencils, markers, pencil boxes, pocket folders.)

Carnival & Games (Wristbands and other promotions) 

Thrill seekers can save in both the main and kiddie carnival with $2 Rides & $2 Games on Fridays from Noon-4 p.m. or $30 Unlimited Ride Wristbands on Wednesdays and Thursdays (sold until 5 p.m. and valid until 8 p.m.) Little bookworms can receive three free carnival rides though the Read and Ride program, where children ages 5-11 submit book reports for free carnival tickets. The required book report form is available online at ocfair.com.


Transportation
(OCTA, Metrolink & Uber)

Fairgoers can save on their trip to the Fair before they walk through the gates with free parking and shuttle service available from the Experian parking structure on Saturday and Sunday (parking structure is located off the Bristol St. exit of the 405 freeway.) Additionally, guests can save with the return of the OC Fair Express, which picks up from nine OCTA locations in Orange County and comes directly to the OC Fair Friday through Sunday. Plus, each rider receives a coupon for discounted Fair admission ($3). One-way fare is $2 and round-trip fare is $4. Visit ocfairexpress.com for transit locations. In conjunction with the OC Fair Express, guests traveling from outside Orange County can jump on the Metrolink to Anaheim Canyon, Santa Ana or Irvine stations to catch the OC Fair Express for free when they present their Metrolink ticket. Visit metrolinktrains.com/ocfair for stations and more information. New Uber users can receive a free ride (up to $25) to/from the OC Fair when they sign up.
