Macaroni Kid Review:
We had a wonderful family time at Disney on Ice's "Treasure Trove" in Ontario! The first half of the show expanded on the stories of Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, and the Lion King. After a short intermission, shorter versions of princess stories were in the second half, such as Tiana, Snow White, Rapunzel, and Ariel. My favorite performance was watching Wendy skate with Peter Pan. She was so graceful as she danced, and glided so lightly and beautifully on the ice with all the Disney songs we love and know. My daughter also love every minute, especially when she saw her favorite character out on stage. They truly do a great job with the special effects and story props that you sometimes forget that this is all done on an ice-rink!
Since our family has been so busy recently, we haven't had the chance to visit Disneyland as much anymore. As such, we really treasure these Disney on Ice shows as our "Disney" time, and it reminds us how much we love these stories and our favorite characters. One thing to note to all the parents and accompanying adults, make sure you bring jackets for you and the kids....it was especially cold depending where you sat during the show.
