Our day at the Aquarium of the Pacific

Summer is a great time to visit to the Aquarium of the Pacific.  It's a good place to beat the heat and enjoy fun exhibits that are often interactive.  This time while we were there, we saw many table stations where an aquarium staff would teach kids about a specific sea creature and allow them to touch the display.  Kids were easily drawn to the tables and asked many questions.  These stations are a hit and not to be missed!
One of the first things our kids wanted to do at the aquarium was to see the touch pools and meet the stingrays and fishes up close. We spent the most time here.
The kids also loved the touch pools for the starfishes and other colorful creatures.

A highlight of our day was an exhibit full of Dorys and Nemos!

If you have not visited the new "Horses and Dragon's" exhibit, it's a must!  I have never seen anything like it.  The fishes and sea horses here are truly amazing.  My favorite is the Weedy Seadragons!  They really look like dragons!  Wow!

Don't forget to say hi to these cute penguins while you're outside.  There's so much to see at the Aquarium of the Pacific, it's a great place for the whole family to explore.
