Legoland is a great theme park for for young kids and toddlers. We love how it's age appropriate and not overwhelming. Our daughter is almost three years old now and we had a chance to take her to this park on an October afternoon. She enjoyed all the rides but she also simply liked being able to play with legos throughout the park. It's a good idea how they have a kids lego area during long lines and how there are large blocks laying around to be creative with, to knock down, and to build.
My favorite ride is the fairytale one, where it rides a boat and floats calmly to see the different fairytale stories. There are usually no lines and you can go twice without getting up (perfect for nursing moms). Other favorites for our kids are the helicopter ride, the race tracks and the safari ride.
If your kids liked the Lego Movie, this is a good time to visit. Part of the movie set is currently at Legoland! There is also still time to purchase tickets for the "Brick or Treat" event.
