I had a great time with my sister hanging out at Merlot Spa - they offer an array of body and facial treatments to choose from. Love that their facials are tailored to my skin condition. Lately with the weather changing so drastically, I wasn’t my 100%, so I decided to do body massage with detox (it’s similar to Asian technique of cupping but it’s done with a vacuum treatment that helps improve the lymphatic circulation in the body allowing the body to detox or aid in slimming), and finalizing it with a body heat wrap.
The perspiration help to eliminate toxins from the skin as well as reduce stress, making my body improve in circulation. I really enjoyed having a full service spa in my area that is professional and tailors to different needs. Their website does not really have the full list of all their services. But they are a medical spa too, in which they carry medical license staff that provides other services such as injectables Botox, laser treatments and medical peels. I might not require yet of such services but it’s good to know that they offer those as well.

Review of Initial Visit
I recently visited Merlot Spa for my initial facial consultation. The first thing they did was analyze my skin using a machine that was able to break down in percentages the different problematic areas of my skin. After this analysis, Wendy (owner of the Spa) discussed with me the current condition of my skin and what the analysis meant. I felt that the consultation was very informative and introduced me to the different facials and medical treatments available at Merlot Spa. She was detailed in how treatments can apply to me specifically and was very patient in answering all my questions. To start off, Wendy suggested for me the Oxygen Infusion Aroma Facial Treatment (Oxygen Facial).
I was expecting a regular facial but the Oxygen Facial was not just a facial, it was very much a spa experience. I was provided with warm blankets, hot towels for my neck, messages as well as a very thorough skin treatment. The room we were in was peaceful with calming music throughout the process. In my years as a mom, I have never pampered myself this way. For that hour and a half, I felt like I was on vacation, so relaxed. The next few days, my skin felt dewey, hydrated and stayed moist even after I washed my face. I heard from other moms that the other specialty facials at Merlot Spa are worth checking out too.
