In 2011, the Pentagon estimated that 20% of our Veterans would be homeless. Covina Rotary took a stand and made a huge commitment to ensure our local Veterans would be cared for. We started planning Field of Valor, and it took us a year to launch the first field in 2012. Covina Rotary, in collaboration with the Veterans Administration, local law enforcement, and community support, has taken eight homeless Veterans from under their tents in Azusa Canyon, and placed them into housing. They remain in housing and are productive members of our society today. In addition, we have helped over 500 Veterans stay in their homes, and have paid rent, utilities, and various other bills on their behalf.

How you can help our Veterans:
Join the many others in our community who have been supportive of Field of Valor. You can be a Field Sponsor at various levels (click on the Help Us page), sponsor flags for your military employees, and/or sponsor a flag in the Field for any active military or Veteran. Be sure to visit the Field of Valor between November 5th- Nov. 12th (click on the Events page). All events and visits to the Field are free of charge.
The Covina Rotary Club has made this an annual event, so watch this website for information about each year’s event!
