Celebrate Spring at the Los Angeles Zoo's Annual Spring Fling Featuring Big Bunny

Los Angeles, CA (Mar. 21, 2024)--The Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association (GLAZA) is thrilled to announce Spring Fling, a jubilant celebration of nature's renewal, happening Friday, Mar. 29 through Sunday, Mar. 31 at the Los Angeles Zoo. Spring Fling featuring Big Bunny promises a weekend filled with egg-citing activities, fascinating education stations, pollinator spotlights, live story readings and musical performances, special animal feedings, and more. All programming is free, unless noted, with paid daytime admission and for GLAZA members.
A highlight of this year's festivities is the return of the beloved Big Bunny, offering special photo opportunities (for an additional fee) for guests to capture memorable moments with this iconic springtime character. Other fun includes live performances and guided play with the BeatBuds; all-natural honey tastings with the Los Angeles Beekeepers Association (for an additional fee); story readings with best-selling author Suzanne Lang and award-winning illustrator and animator Max Lang, who will be reading their book Grumpy Monkey: Spring Fever, a delightful tale of a silly springtime celebration in the jungle; a self-guided “Egg-cellent Adventure” tour spotlighting egg-laying animals; special animal presentations and feedings; themed education stations; a springtime “Community Coloring Wall”; strolling bee and flower characters; and more.
This event provides a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy the beauty of spring while fostering a deeper connection to the planet and its inhabitants. All programming is free, except for Big Bunny photo ops and honey tastings, with paid daytime admission and for GLAZA members.
