When I did a solo trip to Grand Cayman Island back in January 2023 as part of a press trip, I dreamed of a time where one day I could bring my family with me so I could share my experience with them. When I looked into planning our summer vacation travels, I checked out the discounted summer rates from Cayman Airways, (the only non-stop direct flights out of LAX!) and jumped at the opportunity to book our next family vacation to none other than Grand Cayman Island!
Grand Cayman is one of my favorite places, and I was thrilled to be able to share my experience with my family. I knew we wanted to be in close proximity to one of the most beautiful locations in the world, Seven Mile Beach, and have beach access from where we were staying.

I’ve stayed at quite a few hotel chains, and in my opinion, the Hilton Hotels have a long-standing reputation of comfort, affordability and quality. When I stay at any Hilton hotel, I know I’m going to have great service, a comfortable bed, and a great bath/shower. The Hampton by Hilton Grand Cayman, located on Seven Mile Beach, is no exception. My family stayed there for six nights and we were extremely pleased with the entire experience.
With just a short walk from shopping and popular dining areas and my all-time favorite al fresco restaurant at the Cayman Islands, Ms. Piper’s Kitchen, the Hampton by Hilton fit all of the checkboxes for us. With a daily complimentary hot breakfast, free rental of go-pros, free beach cruiser rentals, and use of all of the resort amenities, Hampton by Hilton offers the perfect respite, complete with stunning sunsets and calming ocean waves.
There were plenty of loungers and beach umbrellas to relax under at the outdoor pool, and for the ultimate in pampering and relaxation by the pool, you must try the mango smoothie and Celia Cruz drink from Ms. Piper’s Kitchen.
If you rather splash in the ocean instead, Seven Mile Beach is just 43 steps away.

Our gorgeous Studio with 2 Queen beds, featured a city view with full sized sofa bed, walk-in shower, kitchenette with mini-fridge, microwave and complimentary WiFi.
What really impressed me about the suite were the little extras that made us feel welcomed.
I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay at Grand Cayman Island. Our stay at the Hampton by Hilton exceeded my expectations.
